Hyundai Talos

Talos is a mid-size pickup truck concept tailored for the American market. It blends bold, modern design with practical capability, targeting both lifestyle and utility-driven users. The project explores a balance between rugged performance and refined, forward-looking aesthetics.

Process:

Think about what Hyundai needs to expand their influence in North American market. My answer was pickup truck. Since mostly pickup trucks have conservative design so I designed Talos out of traditional proportion and package but still keep the identity of the truck.

Learning Outcomes:

It was my first time to design something really rugged and geometric so I learned a lot about bold and geometric structures. Also truck is all about luggage space so I placed particular emphasis on package. Tried to find the way I can design conservative segment into progressive way.
