Motion Connect

The campaign and title sequence for ArtCenter's Spring 2024 Motion Connect centers on form. The central challenge was creating a unified visual system across keynote speakers whose work differed drastically in style, medium, and tone. Initial attempts to blend their aesthetics resulted in inconsistency and visual noise.

To resolve this, I reduced all visual elements—color, shape, texture, and imagery—to their most fundamental forms. By removing stylistic excess, the system shifts focus from individual differences to shared structural qualities. A strict black-and-white palette was implemented to enforce cohesion and eliminate hierarchy between speakers.

This approach resulted in a distilled visual language that unifies diverse content into a singular, memorable system.
