Plus81 Magazine Cover

This is one of multiple magazine cover layouts we were asked to design for Graduate Typography 1. The premise of this project was to practice layouts and create compositions that communicated a cohesive yet dynamic appearance for Plus81 magazine.
Learning Outcomes:
Before this project, I was new to InDesign. So the past 7 weeks of grinding out 45 pages, per week, really helped me understand the mechanics of the program. I also learned a lot about how the placement of every single element, photos, headlines, issue dates, sub-headers, on the page is crucial to communicate a point.
