ONCARD

ONCARD is a digital platform that reimagines fantasy sports and prediction through a card-based system. Users collect, trade, and deploy player cards to participate in fantasy and pick-based experiences, introducing a structured layer of ownership and strategy beyond traditional formats.

Process:

The project began by identifying limitations in existing fantasy and betting platforms, where engagement is often passive and transactional. The design focuses on a card-based system as the core mechanic, driving gameplay, progression, and ownership. Iterations explored how rarity, collection, and reward systems reinforce long-term engagement while maintaining clarity across game modes. The project is currently in active development.

Learning Outcomes:

– Designing systems driven by ownership, rarity, and progression
– Structuring hybrid experiences across fantasy and prediction models
– Balancing game mechanics with clear and intuitive interfaces
