Solstice

A power portrait piece of my personal character, Solstice Matsumeki, a Bulwark Fighter with the power of the sun behind her. 

Process:

This project followed the standard procedure of the Notorious class. From thumbnails, to colorways, in-progress, and finally, a finished piece. For this piece specifcally, I inked this traditionally on a 23 by 35 in. paper, before scanning it in and colorizing it digitally.

Learning Outcomes:

This project aimed to teach us how to create a masterful and powerful portrait of someone while adhering to their likeness.
