Moto Commons - The Yellow Glove Club

Moto Commons: the Yellow Glove Club reuses an old Los Angeles warehouse as a flexible, affordable hub where emerging motorcycle mechanics, builders, and artists can rent modular workshops hourly, daily, or monthly, working as a community, and share resources. The hub provides essential tools and lifts, as they can borrow specialized equipment from a tool library.

To support the affordable workshops, Moto commons also dedicates to a flexible event space and retail space that gathers community, curates exciting events, and helps selling products. While in the vibrant Moto cafe, Audience can hang out and dine in with the moto community and learn from each others. By preserving the raw industrial aesthetic of exposed beams, concrete floors, and factory doors, this project breathes new life into a huge unused infrastructure, gathers elements from the facinating LA road scenarios, provides a focusing and supporting environment, lowers budget for independent builders, and celebrates motor culture in a fun, inspiring community.
