SU21 Speaker Series Poster

A collaborative design between Jo Iijima and Alan Xu, where they both designed 6 posters to reflect the visiting designers that came to speak at ArtCenter during the summer of 2021. A thoughtful and unique collage and background graphic were designed for each respective visiting designer... creating a series of posters that directly reflect the designers' "perspective on graphic design" No two posters mean the same.
Learning Outcomes:
This project took a very long time because Alan and I spent a lot of time conceptualizing the ideas for these posters. I had a hard time creating collages and develop into the final shape since each poster had to reflect the designer's aesthetic and ideas. Communicating through this project was the most important factor which Alan and I were both able to influence each other during the creative process.
