Desert X Poster

I wanted to incorporate the organic atmosphere of the desert in the triptych poster by using texture, shapes, and colors. I created a triptych poster in an abstract way. I simplified the nature elements in the desert, such as tumbleweed, cactus, and rock mountain, with geometric shapes. In the background, the irregular movement of the desert sand surface is moving around in an abstract form.
Learning Outcomes:
I explored making a triptych poster that promotes the Desert X episode. Using an abstract approach and narrative communication, I could learn how to derive visual attention. On the social media carousel, I practice how to deliver a sequential narrative to the audience.

I reflected the elements from the poster in the carousel and added the contour line of the Coachella Valley map. The carousel has a consistent sequence between six frames along with the continuous abstract elements. Viewers can catch the interesting components and compositions as they swipe the frames and figure out the episode information at the end.
