Hideous Beauty

For this project I chose appearance anxiety as my topic and created a related zine, motion piece, kinetic poster, AR Face Filter. I chose the artist Marina Abramović as my reference artist. Her works explore humanity expressing love towards humanity. She encourages people to face their true hearts. That's what I really wanted to convey. Looks are only temporary. As someone who has experienced appearance anxiety and understands the pain, I don't want to see more people fall into the wrong path.
