Type 2 - Type Specimen Museo Moderno

This project shows a typeface in different weights, sizes, and contexts. The booklet is based on and uses excerpts from William Burroughs Naked Lunch. I used actual pills and collage to create the forms, and use of color to symbolize the juxtaposition of the romanticism of drug use with the vile and ugly truth behind it.
Learning Outcomes:
In this project I learned how to take a specific source and use it as a method of inspiration to show how a typeface can be used and handled in different formats, sizes, weights and forms.
