Other Futures
Other Futures is a posture and brochure for a film series showing. The 33 inch by 22 inch poster can be cut and folded into a 12 page French-fold self-cover brochure. One restriction was the poster must be a two color printing job using offset litho, per the professor’s instructions.
Learning Outcomes:
The main challenge was designing one document that could serve two purposes. While in poster form, the text had to be legible enough from a distance and interest the viewer. Meanwhile, when cut and folded into brochure form, the sequencing and alignment of entries needed to make sense. I enjoyed the process from image research to typographic choices.
