3D Pattern Loop

3D pattern project is to bring the importance of the pattern, repetition, and rhythm in design into 3d object by creating experimental graphic elements and movements which is unexpected and interesting to the audience. Under the three options of strong, light, and balance concept, I chose to create light and delicate pattern movement with two objects: floating cube and torus portray the weightlessness not binding to the gravity.
Learning Outcomes:
For this project, we learned how to make a pattern animation using "clone" tool which can make creative and various patterns in different values. Since we had to deliver the light and delicate value in the animation, the material (plastic) and sound design are also important elements. I really enjoyed the process of the simple animation using the clone tool with the sound design of finding and editing that convey the weightlessness.
