Artbound Logo Redesign
This is my redesign of the Artbound logo. After doing research about the show series and watching an array of episodes, I redesigned the logo to show creativity hidden within something that may seem ordinary at first because I think that there is art everywhere around us, and Artbound highlights that.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned a lot about combining different elements that may not go together in a wordmark and finding ways to make them connect. The "a" was a different typeface that I found while gathering inspiration from bespoke typefaces. It was a challenge to combine that with the classic typeface Didot. I also learned a lot about creating a ligature that matches the curve of the "a" this allowed me to have more practice using the pen tool to create letterforms.
