CD2 Logo

I designed a logo for EOCA, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to put directly into conservation projects. It began with some quick sketches for an exercise in class and looking at different typeface options that I found to fit best. It came down to basic elements, squares, I wanted to come up with a logo that represented the mountains.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how everything has meaning. Even when you may only see shapes, when you look more into it you begin to see the purpose behind those shapes.

Exploration with shapes for the Logo
Logo shape exploration where i wanted to have a representation of the mountain.
My type exploration, I was going for something strong and angular to pair with the square mountain shape.

This is a motion piece sketch for the logo where i had 3 ideas, A,B and C. A would be the boxes multiply in order to create the logo, B is multiple squares slowly disappearing to show the logo and represent the mountains as a well as nature.
