Phases

Using a given set of text and restrictions in font size, weight and color, each week I created up to 21 variations of a cover for the Arts + Architecture article.
Learning Outcomes:
This project pushed me to look at negative space differently and go beyond my comfort designs in typography. I learned different ways to look at type as part of the composition rather than something on top of the composition, how to use white space to my advantage, and how to break out of the traditional grid layout.
