NKG Hotel
NKG Hotel is a rebranding project for Nakagin Capsule Tower in Japan. The tower is one of the last building to remain as Japanese Metabolism movement symbol, and was demolished. This project honors the idea of Metabolism—viewing people in the architecture as "cells" and "organism"—and rebrands the building as a hotel and co-living space.
Learning Outcomes:
Hospitality design is creating an experience to the residents. Expanding graphic design to spatial design was to think of not just in a systematic design format, but to consider the look and feel—how graphic design and space connect emotionally and aesthetically to the audience.
