Dr. Frankenstein's Laboratory

Sound up! I designed a title sequence based off the famous novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Using a milk + color dye + dishwashing soap experiment, I reimagined the beautifully creepy nature of the monster and its creation. [Sound design by Mishen "Mimi" Liu and Xan Alphonse]
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to use various Aftereffects techniques to communicate my concept of the creepiness and beauty of the Frankenstein story.
Image
Process: Styleframes Round 1/4. Photography to map out the general feel and visuals of overall sequence.
Image
Process: Styleframes Round 2/4. Reshooting content, this time in motion, so using videography to record everything. Also playing around with hue and saturation.
Image
Process: Styleframes Round 3/4. Adding more textures, such as masking, multilayering, and mirroring techniques.
Image
Process: Styleframes Round 4/4. Detailed adjustments to type proportions and experimenting further with masking, layering, and blurring techniques.
