Salt

Created for my undergraduate thesis, this is the first volume of a proposed culinary and cultural magazine called Salt. Volume 1, titled Fusion, is dedicated to the migration and culture that surrounds Filipino cuisine. I utilized various sources and family stories to create an illustration-heavy book containing recipes, histories, and cultural notes.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to synthesize research into a lighter and more whimsical style. I improved my own illustration technique and made stylistic choices that would aid in streamlining the process.
