Richard Avedon Book

This is the intro or the "engawa" of a book that will be going over Richard Avedon's life and artistry as a photographer. It will accompany the PBS Documentary "Darkness and Light". This introduction is a quote from Avedon from an interview in 1993 where he is talking to Charlie Rose about how he got into photography. The story goes that Avedon put a negative of his sister onto his arm and let the sun hit it until the image of his sister was burned onto this arm.
Learning Outcomes:
Through this project I learned how to treat a book as an interactive object in which the goal is to play with space and time through pace. In this introduction I played with pace through structure or the lack of structure, typography and the pace of imagery.
