In recent years, the uncertainties of China and the United States relationship was the most concerning topic among international students and their families. Therefore I interviewed my parents and my grandparents in 2021 during the quarantine about their experience as parents of international students. The book was made up of two parts: an interview with my grandfather and an interview with my parents.
Learning Outcomes:
I think this project helped me to learn that graphic design is also a tool to record people's thought and ask questions. It also inspired me to conduct another interview with Chinese parents about their opinion 1 year later.
