This project, "Jian Zhi," revolves around an art exhibition featuring six adept paper-cutting artists. Originating from China, this ancient art form is showcased through diverse techniques, from intricate hollowing to innovative approaches, capturing the contemporary allure of paper cutting. The project includes designing exhibition books and posters, aiming to visually encapsulate the essence of this traditional yet fashionable art form.
Learning Outcomes:
The project refined my technical design proficiency and heightened my cultural sensitivity, adapting traditional practices for modern visuals. Overall, it expanded my creative toolkit, deepening my appreciation for the intersection of culture and design.
