Through the results of the Mona Lisa smile ratio experiment, I learned that our emotional field is diverse, and that these diverse emotions exist simultaneously in the same state in the present moment. So I wanted to make a project that expresses people's diverse emotions by first categorizing them and using emotional analogies so that each emotion has a different color, unique shape and typography. It comes together as a visual system that helps to express different emotional experiences.
I grouped diverse emotions into three major categories, namely positive emotions, neutral emotions, and negative emotions. And visualize the design of these three categories of emotions. And the three design base elements, circle, square and triangle, are selected to correspond to the three emotions respectively.
Book Design This book is used to express more psychological cognitive feelings, and the book design is mainly based on graphics, omitting textual information and allowing the reader to imagine based on the images they see in the body of their own psychological cognition. The book design is mainly based on graphics, omitting textual information and allowing the reader to imagine the images they see based on their own mental perception. Complete design of visual artworks with their own style characteristics.
We will introduce the main content of the project with a video work in the form of an interview, and let the audience think about themselves in the process of watching it, so that they can bring their own understanding to the rest of the design content. For the presentation of the video work, we will show the interview images of several interviewees at the same time, and replace the faces of the interviewees with virtual images modeled in 3D, and we will also try to learn to use the expression form of light and color that breaks the traditional image to express different complex emotions.
