New Year Lucky Box

New Year Lucky Box is a self-developed project about Chinese culture, especially during the most important holiday of the year-the Chinese New Year. The elements come from old story tale characters and combine with illustrations. The design products of this project include a brand logo and materials such as red pockets, tape, cards, posters, stickers, and a calendar.
Learning Outcomes:
I not only learned how to design a brand logo but also learned skills in printing materials. The research process of this project also helps me refine my thesis.
Brand logo
I extract elements from the traditional Chinese New Year celebration scenes, including lanterns, brooms, chrysanthemums, window patterns, and lucky coins.
