Specimen Booklet / Suisse

This specimen book used by Swedish designer Ian Party make the typeface Suisse to render the director Wang Kar-Wai's film 2046. Sussie is sans-serif fonts, which abandoned any handwritten trace in font design, For example, the terminal of c, e and g is a square structure parallel to the baseline. Minimize decorative elements, form all for the convenience of users to read. This booklet includes the presentation and anatomy, the presentation of words and numbers and quotes.
Learning Outcomes:
This is my first booklet project, and I'm still doing my revision, it's not the final outcome. The alignment of the book cover and inside page is still being adjusted, but the general structure and appearance are as shown below. I learned how to use the grid system and how to adjust the H&J of a paragraph to make the paragraph spacing look the most comfortable. I learned how to adjust kerning and rags in the booklet and coordinate the relationship between each paragraph and bars and rules.
