One Step Inn House Whiskey

The idea of a rebranding a whiskey came from a hobby me and friend seem to have gotten each other into: trying different whiskeys. My friend and I have been trying a few different whiskeys in the hope to find newer flavors and brands we would enjoy. We have tried several different brands from geographic locations such as Scotland and Canada as well as flavors such as rye and maple. Originally a whiskey called Copper Fox Whiskey caught my eye as a brand that seemed stale and very boring.
Learning Outcomes:
The theme I wanted to challenge myself with was to create this brand with a western feel, I also wanted it to be a nice gift packaging with a mysterious feel to it to cause a viewer to question what was inside and to experience an unveiling something that would feel nice. Making the box from wood seemed like a sturdy and safe option for a glass bottle.

Whiskey reflects the ingredients, techniques and people who make it. Time is also a major factor small and large; old brands retire, new brands arise and some are reborn. all while ingredients and methods change. Today whiskey is enjoyed by all walks of life; from the rich to the poor, from rural to urban. Whiskey is an alcoholic beverage that is distilled from fermented cereal grain and aged in wooden casks.

Cutting the wood was incredible difficult because it took several attempts with each side. Along the way I happen to wet the wood and it took on a large bow to the outer door. It then hat to sit over night and I was lucky enough to have it straighten out. Not being very good with cutting the wood made with just simple hand tools it come out with a nice handmade feel which just lent itself to the old western rough feel.
