American Multi-Cinema, colloquially referred to as AMC, is the largest movie exhibition company in North America and Europe. I was asked to conduct a hypothetical rebrand of this corporation, which involved the creation of a new identity system, the development of numerous product lines, and the establishment of an exciting event partnership. This project received an "Honorable Mention" award from the Graphis New Talent 2024 competition.
Learning Outcomes:
My professor, Gerardo, helped me understand much more about brand strategy as a whole, and the tools that we can employ in the process of researching a brand in depth. I also had no experience video editing or creating spatial scenes prior to this project, so these were new skills that I will continue to build. Perhaps my most favorite element of this project was my decision to partner AMC with Los Angeles International Film Festival, and envision where, when and how this event would unfold.
