"Er" Typeface

For Graduate Typography 3, students were assigned to create a modular typeface in the span of four weeks. When trying to find a design for my typeface, I realized I was creating sketches that reminded me of early computing and word processing. I leaned into that concept and created Er. The concept of early computing fascinated me as the discussions of the time focused around how error would be impossible with the computer. I added this language with a bit of humor in the final poster.
