Born and raised in a small town in southern Minnesota, Kelly Chen grew up helping out at her family’s Chinese takeaway restaurant; a childhood experience that greatly influences her stories and art. ​She's a character/costume designer, writer, and filmmaker based in Pasadena/LA. In her free time, she's writing stories, thrifting, or playing with dirt (pottery).
