Hey! I'm Monica!

I'm an LA-based artist who draws inspiration from my love of musical theatre, Romantic literature, fashion, and collecting of analog media, including cassettes, vinyl records, and VHS TVs. You can often find me creating an archive of all these things in my personal time!

As a designer, I strive to communicate a strong narrative through my character designs and worldbuilding. Each work intends to reflect character struggles and personalities, whether it is acting or the clothes they wear on their backs. As I enjoy both pre-production and production stages, I am able to execute projects from start to finish! It's wonderful to see all projects through! I often use a combination of Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Toon Boom Harmony with the different stages of the production pipeline to bring my work to life for audiences!
