About

As a spatial experience designer, I am passionate about bringing people together with my design. I'm good at connecting people and observing and supporting them from behind. While playing college basketball, I liked to carefully observe not only my teammates but also each member of the opposing team and think about how to move the team to victory. Rather than being a leader, I am good at supporting leaders.

Prior to joining Art Center College of Design, I studied at the Kuwasawa Design School in Tokyo. During my time in Tokyo, I interned at the ateliers of world-famous artists and designer such as Kohei Nawa, Shigeru Uchida, and Hiroshi Sugimoto. In particular, I worked with Shigeru Uchida Atelier for one year, and was involved in the design of two hotels and residences.

I excel at making projects run smoothly while being sensitive to key design elements and what kind of design elements should be assembled. I have experience in product design such as furniture, commercial design such as exhibitions and community spaces, and architectural design such as hotels and residences. I would like to utilize this experience to play an active role in the process of completing a project from beginning to end.
