Hello! My name is Taylor Baik, and I am a Korean-American artist currently based in Los Angeles, California. I specialize in background paint/design, visual development, and illustration.

For me, art has always served as a way for me to tell stories and bring my imagination to life through images, using design, color, and light to evoke emotion and clear narrative. I particularly enjoy painting environments and inanimate objects, and find the challenge of telling the story of a space through intentional design and compositional choices to be so fun. The stories and work I create tend to be very whimsical, heartfelt, and typically involve some sort of magical element.
