Sculpin Dragon

I grew up in a landlocked state, but I read a lot about the ocean. As a kid, I thought tidepools were the coolest, most magical thing. Summer 2024, my family and I took a trip to the Olympic Peninsula and ended up visiting some tidepools. As we climbed over the rocks, I could easily imagine magical creatures thriving there. I challenged myself to design a dragon, a typical fantasy creature, that would be adapted around the needs of the tidepool ecosystem. Please view the "Process" tab for more!
