Lollapalooza 2025 Prep Pack

For Package Design 1, I decided to design a preparation pack for the 2025 Lollapalooza music festival. Considering the music industry is one of my desired career directions, I thought it an achievable project would be to package a collection of items (sunglasses, fanny pack, t-shirt, koozie, wristband) which make a music festival a more enjoyable experience. I would design the outer packaging as well as some inner packaging.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned a lot of technical information, such as terms (CMF, PDP, etc.), the wide range of materials that are used to create packaging (cardboard, plastic, etc.) and how they are mass-produced in the real world (flexographic printing, etc.). I also learned the importance of dielines, and how to follow them to create packaging. I learned it takes several tries to get the measurements, folds, and gluing right for an ideal packaging model. Overall, I got a lot out of being in Dan's class.
