The Joyful Gestures Collection

This set of four greeting cards began with my interest in novelty and functional consumer goods. After careful consideration, I focused on four non-holiday occasions—anniversary, birthday, sympathy, and graduation to create designs that feel relevant year-round.

The project centers on the relationship between text and imagery, using both elements together to build distinct personalities for each card. I aimed to create a thoughtful and engaging gifting experience, balancing expressive, playful design with clear functionality. Each card is meant to feel personal and memorable while still serving its purpose as an accessible, everyday object.
