Arluna is a boutique hotel project in Joshua Tree, offering an elevated experience for guests seeking to escape the pressures of modern life. Set against the backdrop of the desert, the hotel is designed to harmonize with its surroundings, blending modernist architecture with the natural landscape. Arluna serves urban professionals looking for a retreat where they can reconnect with nature, embrace seasonal living, and find balance through thoughtfully curated experiences and amenities.
Learning Outcomes:
This project allowed me to apply all the skills I developed in the MDes program while working on something deeply personal. Joshua Tree is where I have found inspiration and solace over the years, making it the perfect setting for Arluna. The project reflects my deep connection to the area's unique landscape and the sense of peace it has always provided me.
