This project was an exploration of 3D space-making through motion, with a focus on building a gallery-like environment in Cinema 4D. I wanted to experiment with how architecture, material, light, and movement could work together to create a spatial experience rather than just a sequence of objects. The concept centered on a concrete gallery that appears to frame itself, while green geometric forms guide the viewer’s eye through the space and build toward a final moment of explosion.
Approach:
I developed the piece by exploring rough concrete textures, strong material contrast, and illumination to separate the green cubes from the heavier gallery structure. The green elements act as a visual guide through the environment, creating direction and rhythm as the space gradually becomes more tense and unstable. I also used camera movement and subtle camera shakes to heighten suspense and make the experience feel more immersive. The final explosion works as the climax of the piece, releasing the built-up tension and giving the environment a more dramatic, cinematic ending.
