Illustrations

These characters, Pickle & Mash, began as simple sketches from a Character Design class. I later expanded them into a full illustration to explore their personalities and story through color and composition.

The piece portrays two carefree, ill-prepared friends perched on a lone rock in the open sea, fishing with nothing but their rods—unaware that a hungry seagull is closing in on their catch.

This piece is a deleted-scene illustration inspired by the film The Man Who Wasn’t There. I created this moment to express the emotional distance and strained relationship between the main characters, Ed and Doris.

Late at night in a quiet library, a young girl notices her neighbor’s cat playing with a book that has fallen to the floor. As she opens the book to take a closer look, the cat suddenly dives into its pages. Instinctively, she reaches out to grab it—only to be pulled along with the cat into a magical world beyond the book.
