Butterfly Forest

30’’x40’’, oil on canvas, 2025

This work originates from a childhood drawing I made at the age of five. Revisiting it years later, I reinterpreted the image through oil painting as a way to reconnect with instinct, memory, and imagination. Butterflies become a symbol of transformation and quiet growth, while the layered surface creates a soft, dreamlike space between clarity and blur. The piece reflects an ongoing dialogue between past and present — a return to a more intuitive way of seeing.
