Allegory of the Cave

This poster is one of an 8 part series of posters that are meant to come together to create one timeline. Using black and white imagery and content from Plato's "Allegory of the Cave," this poster represents the idea of enlightened peoples using their power for good or for evil.
Learning Outcomes:
Through this project, I learned that white type at large scales is legible even on 40% black. This led to experimenting with black and white type as well as opacity. It was fun arranging the text in a way it would be able to be read across the entire timeline.
