Hush Installation

Throughout the book are lines from the poem “I Remember, I Remember.” I wanted viewers to engage with the poem in a physical, auditory way within the exhibit. For this piece, visitors will sit down at a dining table with a plate in front of each seat displaying the exhibition logo. However, when they sit down, an audio recording reading the poem will start to play. Each seat has a different voice, so I wanted to encourage viewers to sit down with strangers to make their own intimate experiences.
