WE <3 BREAKUPS

This poster shows a timeline of the number one Billboard Hot 100 songs of the week of my birthday—June 5th—from 1941 to 2022. The main theme of the timeline is breakup songs. They're highlighted through the heart rate spikes and are also categorized based on whether they are sad (shown in blue) or angry (shown in red) songs.
Learning Outcomes:
Through this project I really learned how to balance information without making the overall layout look too hectic or overwhelming for the viewer while still presenting all of the information. There was a lot of trial and error involved regarding the layout as I had to constantly move things around in order to make things be consistent and flow well.
