Critical Diagram
Critical Diagrams involves the pairing of principles of animation with responses to weekly readings. The graphics are made of abstract lines and dots to create a language of movement and behavior. The goal is to communicate a key stance from the reading through the implementation of the principle of animation of the week. This project allows for the development of a unique language of movement that has communicative value, giving life to inanimate objects and creating engaging visual narratives.
Learning Outcomes:
This project focuse on principles of animation and their implementation in creating visual narratives. It allows me to develop a deep understanding of the principles of animation and how they can be used to convey meaning through movement as well as how to apply these principles in a more contextualized manner. Through the use of abstract graphical situations, I gained a unique understanding of how movement can tell stories and create meaning.
