#Too Much Information
The goal of mail art–an artistic movement in the 60s centered on sending artworks through the mail–was to establish a network of informative art; in today's environment, however, people frequently experience overstimulation from junk mail and biased information as a result of the rapid updating of social media and the cyber techs. This project proposes and develops a dynamic and thoughtful provoking typographic and immersive wall mural visual narrative to raise awareness regarding biased media.
Learning Outcomes:
The mural typography allows for a greater impact on the space it inhabits. With larger scale, the text becomes an integral part of the environment. It can transform a plain wall into a engaging space. It differs from traditional typography that limited to a small area like a book, the mural can be seen from a distance, which allows for a different level of engagement and information containing. It can be used to tell a story or convey a message in a way that traditional typography cannot.
