In this project, we created a poster that can be folded into a brochure for a sci-fi film event. The background features an image from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The image orientation and typography layout are intentionally designed to reflect the absence of gravity, as in space, there is no true up or down.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned to use type in different scales while relating to the image. I also learned about the relationships that exist between the different print formats.
The image used is from 2001 space odyssey, due to the film festival being sci-fi films, I elected this image to show the science fiction side while adhering to the real world of being in space while emulating the sense of being in 0g by switching the direction.
