Environment concepts and period research done during my internship at KILOSTUDIOS LLC. All work shown here has been authorized for release. As the Cold War draws to a close, an elite team of CIA operators is tasked with tracking down a shipment of ex-Soviet fissile material amidst the turbulent backdrop of 1990s Jamaica.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned a great deal about increasing my sensitivity towards location and period-specific research. The project also challenged my ability to communicate with the 3D team and identify/correct errors in detail. The environment concepts on this project required a higher degree of 2D-3D-Photobashing workflow integration than I was previously familiar with. I was able to expand my skillset and learn new processes at an expedited pace thanks to the guidance of my seniors at the studio.
