Type 3 Midterm Book
Taking the 10 selected typographic studies from the first 6 weeks of Type 3 with Professor Drake, our midterm project was to compile those selections into a printed book. As my first finalized ArtCenter portfolio piece, I decided to flood the additional pages with ArtCenter orange, and setting the text in Neue Haas as a nod to the program.
Learning Outcomes:
500 characters isn't enough to explain how much I've learned through this process! It was such a unique challenge that consistently kept me thinking about how content can be digested. Hierarchy, rhythm and pacing, the importance of white space, and the satisfaction of lining everything up on the grid are just a few of the main takeaways.
