Anti-Fashion

As one of the most influential figures in contemporary fashion, Yohji Yamamoto has redefined conventional ideas of beauty, structure, and form. Translating his anti-fashion philosophy into an exhibition context presents a unique challenge — one that requires extending his visual language across both space and print. This project positions the book as a complementary artifact to the exhibition, designed to deepen and sustain the experience beyond the physical display. The challenge was to create a cohesive system that embraces both asymmetry and negative space while reflecting Yamamoto’s radical approach to fashion in an unconventional form.
