BS in Environmental Design — Spatial Experience DesignOffice design - The Neighborhood Collection
The Neighborhood Collection is a modular office system that helps teams reconnect in hybrid work environments. Inspired by neighborhoods, it uses customizable parts—shelves, roof baffles, doors, planters—to let teams design their own “house” within a shared “community.” By fostering comfort, ownership, and collaboration, it turns offices into places people want to return to, blending privacy and openness in a personalized, connected environment.
Learning Outcomes:
In this project with Industrial Designer Ruirui Wang and Furniture Designer David Hwang, I led design strategy, storytelling, and space planning, using visual communication to convey ideas effectively. I learned to collaborate across disciplines, respect diverse approaches, and understand that successful office design must balance functionality, flexibility, acoustics, lighting, and circulation to support team workflows and collaboration.
