BS in Environmental Design — Spatial Experience Design

Thrill Island transforms a cruise ship deck into two multi-level water parks—Whale Park and Wave Park—featuring rides, slides, pools, scenic routes, and themed dining. Designed for guests of all ages, it blends ocean-inspired forms, varied thrill levels, and immersive spaces to offer both adventure and relaxation, creating memorable experiences that connect people and strengthen the brand.
Learning Outcomes:
In this team project with Product Designer Tina Tang and Spatial Designer Robbie Li, I led brand elevation, spatial narrative, form language, program ideation, visual communication, 3D and physical modeling, rendering, and presentation. I also learned key considerations for water-based design—how to shape experiences around water—and how to plan entertainment spaces that balance excitement, safety, circulation, and guest comfort.
