Typography Specimen Guide (Akkurat presents Alfred Hitchcock)

Specimen Guide exploring an assigned type in the visual language of Alfred Hitchcock. (Final was presented as a printed booklet on tan newsprint, below is the digital file.)
Learning Outcomes:
Learned how to use type as a form (hierarchy, golden ratio, etc...) Practiced taking projects from digital to print (including cutting, folding, and binding), focusing on the smallest of details to enhance the end product. Learned how to use type as a form of subconscious communication–form is just about information as it is about beauty. Experimented with After Effects.
